Repository search

In the ARIS Advanced Repository, you can search for models and objects in the context of a database or a database group. A maximum of 1,000 search results can be displayed. If the search returns more than 1,000 search results, specify your search query more precisely using Search options Search options.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Models and objects Models and objects.

  2. On the left, select a database to search the entire database, or select a database group to search within a specific database group. The selected search context is displayed in the Search field. Example: Search Search in: 2. PROCESSES.

  3. Search using a GUID or search using a term.

Search using a GUID

  • Enter the Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) of a model or object into the Search Search field at the top of the screen and press Enter.

The corresponding model or object is displayed in the Search area. Each model or object has exactly one GUID and the search always results in exactly one hit.

Search using a term

  • Enter your search term into the Search Search field and press Enter.

All items whose name contains the search term at the beginning are listed.
