Assign model template

You can customize the appearance of models and model items using model templates.

Apply model template

You can apply a template to a model or an individual model item to change their appearance in the modeling area.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. In an open model, activate the Model tab bar.

  2. To apply a template to a single model item, select the model item, otherwise the template is applied to the whole model.

  3. Click Assign model template Template to display available templates.

  4. Click the required template.

The content of the modeling area is immediately adjusted to the model template settings. You can apply multiple templates to one model or model item. For example, you can use one template to change the colors of a model and another template to change the placement of attributes.

You can reset all templates.

Reset model template

You can reset the appearance of a model or a model item for which a template was used to the ARIS Advanced default appearance.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. In an open model, activate the Model tab bar.

  2. Click Assign model template Template to display the available templates.

  3. Click Reset.

The content of the modeling area is adjusted immediately.
