Edit tasks

Edit the tasks assigned to you. You can complete a task the first time you edit it or continue editing it at a later time, for example, if information you require is not currently available.

Edit tasks directly from the toolbar

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Click Open 'My tasks' Pending tasks in the header of ARIS Advanced. This icon with the number of pending tasks is only displayed if tasks are available for you.

  2. My pending tasks is displayed, listing the 10 tasks that were most recently assigned to you. The list and the number of tasks are automatically refreshed to stay up to date. By default, the update interval is 60 minutes. Administrators can modify the auto-refresh interval or disable the automatic refresh (Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration > Configuration Configuration > Process Governance > User interface).

  3. Click the task you want to edit. The dialog for editing the task opens.

  4. Enter the required information and select the relevant options.

Click Submit in the dialog to complete the task. After this, further editing is no longer possible (the status is Completed). The button for completing the task may also have a different name because this button can be customized by the modeler. Tasks in status Completed can be accessed only in read-only mode.

Click Cancel to discard your changes. The task status is reset to New.

  5. Enter your password and user name if you are requested to do so when finishing the task.

The task was edited and has a status that corresponds to how it was completed.
