Comment on objects in Published content

You can comment on objects in models, and you can find comments on objects from others and highlight the related objects in the model.

Prerequisite

You have the required database access privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Published content Published content.

  2. Click the relevant model.

  3. Click the Diagram fact sheet.

  4. Click the object on which you want to comment.

  5. In the upper right corner, click Comments Collaboration. The Collaboration bar opens.

  6. Enter or copy your text into the text box. Up to 2000 characters are available. A tag is automatically created for the object so that the object to which the comment refers can be found again in the model later.

  7. Click Post.

Your comment is posted.

Find object related to a comment

Prerequisite

The database to which the object belongs has not been renamed and/or merged after the comment.

  1. Click the relevant Diagram fact sheet in Published content Published content.

  2. In the upper right corner, click Comments Collaboration. The Collaboration bar opens.

  3. If there are many comments on the model, click the relevant tag behind Selected tags. The comment related to the object is displayed.

  4. Click the tag related to the object in the comment.

The corresponding object is highlighted and moved to the focus area if it is not already in focus.
