Add 'Diagram' component

You can add the Diagram component to the Home page and configure the appearance of diagrams. The Diagram component contains the start model of a database.

  1. Find the identifier of the model that you want to define as start model.

  2. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  3. Click User interface.

  4. Select Custom settings.

  5. Enable Change layout.

  6. Click New/Add Add Component. The Add component dialog opens.

  7. Click the Component box and then click Diagram.

  8. Click Add.

  9. Click Edit Edit in the row of the inserted Diagram component. The Edit diagram dialog opens.

  10. Specify the name of the Diagram component in the various languages. The name is displayed as header of the Diagram component. You can display more languages. The entered name is displayed as header of the component.

  11. Click New/Add Add to specify a start model for the Home page.

  12. Enter the identifier of the model you want to use as start model.

  13. Click OK.

The diagram is displayed as a start model on Home if you select the database that contains the model.

You can remove the start model for the database by clicking Delete Delete in the row of the model.
