Make method extensions available
By default, a project room uses the items defined in ARIS Method. Configuration administrators can adapt ARIS Method items to the requirements of the company. To make customized method items available to users, you must create a method filter that includes these items. You can also add the new items to an existing filter. Once you have created a new filter, you must assign the filter to users or user groups. These users can use the contained method extensions when modeling.
You can make method extensions available to databases on another project room by exporting method filters and transferring the method extensions during the subsequent filter import.
To continue using user-defined or customized method items from previous ARIS Advanced versions, you must import the previous filters that contain all user-defined and customized items. After the filter import, you must restore the databases of previous versions on your current project room.
