Advanced search
You can refine the search results by setting the search context and the item filters.
Click Advanced search in the search field at the top of the screen. The Search area opens.
If more than one database is provided, select the database to be used for the search.
Enter your search term into the
Search field at the top of the screen. As you type, the first matching results are listed and the list is updated when you complete the term.
Press Enter. The search results are displayed in the Search area.
Click the down arrow in the field next to the search field and select Published content or Documents. The search results are narrowed down based on the selected context.
If the search result list is too long to provide a good overview, use the Items filter on the left to refine your search results.
Click one or more filter criteria. The selected filter criteria are displayed above the list and the search results are updated. If a selected filter criterion has subordinate properties, these are displayed below the Items area under Properties. Click the required property to display the associated selection boxes or text fields above the search area.
Select additional criteria. The input options depend on the property type. To define a date, for example, a calendar opens.
To clear a selected filter criterion, click
Clear. The filter criterion is removed and the search results are updated.
To see more search criteria, click Show more in the
Filters area. The list is extended.To clear all filter criteria for an area, click Clear subordinate filters.
To clear all filters and base your search on other search criteria, click Show all in the Filters area. All previously selected search criteria are cleared.
The list of results is updated based on the search context and the selected criteria.
If you performed the search in the Models context, the model is opened in a new tab for editing. If you performed the search in the context of published content, the Published content with the fact sheets of the model is opened. You can download a document or open an object or model in
Published content by clicking their name.
