Add new tile to quick link

You can add a quick link that can start, for example, an app or a web page from the Quick link area of the Home page.

Procedure. Procedure (quick video)

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click User interface.

  3. Select Custom settings.

  4. Click Edit Edit in the Quick links row. The Edit quick links dialog opens.

  5. Click New to add a new tile. The Add tile dialog opens

  6. Enter the name in the various languages.

  7. Enter the URL to which the tile links to. Enter the entire URL in the form https://<server>:<port>/<app path>.

  8. Enable In a new tab to display the tile in a new tab in the browser.

  9. Select a symbol as a PNG file for the tile.

  10. Click OK.

  11. Move the mouse cursor over the row of the tile you want to move.

  12. Use the arrows to change the order of the tile.

  13. Click OK. The Edit quick links dialog is closed.

The configured apps are now displayed in Home and can be used to start the app or open the web page.

You can also insert quick links to an own layout if you select Change layout.
